Windows 32-bit Setup Guide
The new WoW Tunnels client is designed to let you enjoy WoW Tunnels with the minimum amount of configuration. It should work for most people, however for some, especially on 64-bit machines, you may need to use Proxycap with the client. For more information on using Proxycap or other "proxifying" software, refer to other notes.
Guide

Note: Download the older 1.3 client if you have McAfee Anti-virus or Norton as the latest may have false-positive issues.

- First of all go to the settings screen and enter the appropriate settings below:
Username: Your WoW Tunnels username (Note: If you're trialing WoW Tunnels first, make sure you use your special trial username/password located in the member's portal.)
Password: Your WoW Tunnels password
Game Path: Your WoW game folder should be auto detected, if it is wrong, then click browse and point to your World of Warcraft folder. For Misc Settings, refer to the optional settings part of the guide for more information.

Optional Settings
- Launch WoW Tunnels at startup: Check this box to run the WoW Tunnels client on Windows startup.
- Do not launch FreeCap: This disables the use of Freecap, tick this box if you are using another proxifying software such as Proxycap, Proxifier or Widecap.
- Remember screen position: Select this to make the client remember the position of the window.
Other Notes/Problems
- If you have trouble with the client, please use Putty and Freecap/Proxycap manually to connect, refer to the manual setup instructions.
- If you would like to use Proxycap with the client, please follow the alternate setup instructions to use the client with Proxycap. The client will still handle the connection using Putty for you.
- If you're planning to use the in-game voice functionality in World of Warcraft, Proxycap is suggested also.
- For a list of common problems and support, refer to the forums.
Technical Explanation
- The WoW Tunnels client uses Putty and Freecap in the background when you click the launch button.
- Putty is a SSH client that will set up the connection between your computer and WoW Tunnels' servers and act as a local proxy server.
- Freecap is an application that will force applications that doesn't have built-in proxy support (such as World of Warcraft) use a proxy server specified. In this case, it will use the proxy server created by Putty.
