Update:
There are various problems relating to Battle.net accounts, from the looks of it it's not just related to WoW Tunnels & Proxies. There have been many users reporting on the official World of Warcraft forums problems logging in.
If you haven't merged yet, I suggest to stay away (for now).

Possible fixes:

Open Freecap settings, go to the Program tab and change the DNS name resolving from "Remote" to "Local then Remote"

hey MKL, i changed it, but it says im connecting to an invalid server...

please help!! i cant login thru WoW using Tunnel, even after i change it to Local then Remote, but yeah it says something like this:

I've tried all the fixes suggested short of a complete reinstall (us.logon.battle.net fix and the local then remote fix and deleting the cache, interface and data folders and running a repair) and still no connect. If I don't use wow tunnels it connects fine.

playing with 400+ ping sux hardcore after getting used to sub 200

Hope we get a fix soon.

what you need to do:

C: > Windows > system32 > drivers > etc > hosts

open hosts with note pad and add: 12.129.206.130 us.logon.battle.net

I also still have the local then remote and the us.logon.battle.net fixes going. I'm not going to play around with it.... if it ain't broke don't **** with it.

I did as you said and it seems it not longer just has disconnected from server. But now it has Unable to connect. Ugggh this is so irritating.

Although adding that host did get rid of the freeze time as well. So it is helping. I just need to be able to connect grrrrrr.

cause i think my problems is exactly yours, and im not very good with these changing stuffs, so im not gonna risk changing my PC settings, cause im afraid i wont be able to change it back later

So happy right now. Thank you MK for all your help. I really appreciate it. And the problem I had at the end was my port in the putty settings were wrong. I forgot to change it back after i tried fiddling before. But now it works with no freezes and instant connects. Thank you so much guys

Losga, Just follow what querty said. Dont worry it wont harm anything. Just go file he directed you to and open hosts with notebook. At the bottom of all the text just make a new line and copy paste what he said.
